I have asked many challenging questions about
Christianity at this website. Some people tell me that there
are adequate answers to these questions. So I took my questions
to the Christian
Forums web site to discuss these issues openly. This has
resulted in many interesting debates that I share with you
here. I post in that forum using the name doubtingmerle. You
will recognize me by the thinker symbol.
The forum is open for public participation. I
invite you to join us there. Simply register with the site, and join

I have no control over what is added to these threads. Sometimes
the subject drifts far from the subject of the opening post.
Sometimes the discussion is simply chit-chat. At other times, it is
quite scholarly. But it is always a lot of fun. I think these
threads will challenge your thinking.
Feel free to skim the debate if someone gets off topic. Most
of us quote the person we are responding to, so you can always pick
the conversation up at any point. I make a special effort to quote
the relevant material of the posts I am responding to. If you are
