| This car has been in the family for about 25 yrs. I have driven and maintained it for about 20 of those. The original 260 V8 has been replaced by a '68 350 Rocket, 4bbl. With a Holley Street Dominator intake, 750 dbl pmpr Holley carb.,roller rockers,cast iron heads(with a little work done),stainless valves,stock pistons & rods,and custom oil pan.To transfer the power is a TH-350 tranny,shift-kit, and Holeshot 3000 converter. I have a factory floor console bolted-in with a Hurst Quarter Stick.The rear is a 8.5",from a GN,with 3:42 gears.Custom built 3" mandrel bent exhaust,with Flowmasters help to give it a nice rumble. The car runs mid 13's (through the exhaust)the way it sits and hopefully I can expect "lows" this year?!(it's gettin' there) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
