An old-fashioned tearjerker chronicling the lives and loves of three airman at a training school in 1940s Manioba, Canada. Aussie fighter pilot Lachlan accompanies pal Johnny home to meet his fiancee. There lachlan is immediately smitten with the fiancee` older sister, lill. Lonely since her husband has been off at war, lill is in drawn to the dashing Lachlan, and the two begin a secret romance.
