3/3/02 - Ok, I know I'm slacking in keeping this website updated, but hopefully I'll get around to doing it soon.
1/16/01 - Things are busy at work, but I got a chance to visit a friend from college in Colorado, and did some wonderful cross-country skiing.
12/22/00 - Mostly taking it easy for the holidays. Got a chance to do some taiko drumming today with my co-workers at LTSC. Click on the link to see me on the "shi-me" drums. It was my first public performance.

"Sansei" means third-generation Japanese American, which is my identity. A lot of people usually ask me, "Where are you from?" I was born in Cleveland, Ohio which is a large city on the southern coast of Lake Erie. I pretty much lived in Ohio until I made a dramatic move to Los Angeles, California more than several years ago.
I currently work as the Information Systems Manager at LTSC in downtown
Los Angeles. It's an organization of about 100 employees, and I take care
of the computer network and information technology needs and related projects.
My personal interests are varied, and have changed and grown through my life. Currently some of my activities deal with computer technology and in applications to the community. Social concerns like the "digital divide" are issues here. The Internet will change the society, but I hope we all have the wisdom to make it a positive change.
Other outside interests include creative writing (mostly poetry) and the creative arts and photography. I also enjoy outdoor activities, like hiking.
