• Last weekend was the OA rock n roll marathon. They were stationed near Friars road to hand out water to runners, running in the marathon.
• Last Saturday, there was another service project at the Kumeyay center. They got to pull weeds for 2 hours! I wish I was there.
• Our next troop outing is going to be at cedar creek falls, it will be a backpack. It is out near Julian, it is also a good opportunity for a training hike. It will be on June 21- 22.
• We will be meeting at the Kreitz residence at 8 that Saturday.
• Remember for summer camp: turn in medical class I and II medical forms, merit badge selections, and t-shirt orders.
• Tomorrow there is a Flag ceremony at VFW hall, meet at 6 45 to prepare.

• This weekend on Monday, we will be doing a flag ceremony at Dearborn Park at 11.
• This will help you fulfill some rank requirements.
• This Saturday, you will be able to get some service hours at the Kumeyay Interpretive Center.
• Shawn reviewed the ordeal for the OA.
• We also have three new OA members in the troop!
• On the same day, was also the El Camino Real trip, we reviewed the trip (roses, thorns and buds).
• During the last three meeting we worked on the last 3 points of the scout law. Tonight we worked on morally straight.
• May I mention that the lost patrol won!

• Tonight, we went over the roses buds and thorns of the wind caves trip.
• Some possible improvements for future trips could be, that when people are star-gazing do not turn on flashlights, and remember to stake down your tents! Also, if you sleep on a tripod, be sure it will not fall over.
• Our new award idea, the Silver Trowel (inside joke, you had to be at the meeting).
• On earth day, at blue sky the troop did a flag ceremony, and we dug many a hole in the ground for about 2 trees.
• Future meetings will probably be from 7 – 8 30, instead of 7 – 8
• The next meeting will be at Mr. Faraci’s house, to earn totin’ chit. Be checking your email for directions/addresses.
• Tonight’s game was a knot relay for those with knots signed knots, and those without them signed off, their knots were inspected.

• This weekend is the wind caves trip is this weekend.
• Earth day is on the 12th, we will be doing a flag ceremony, at the celebration, I do not know the exact location, please contact Mr. Kreitz if you need directions.
• There is no scout meeting next week, because the Poway district is on break.
• Bring you class A uniforms for the wind caves trip.
• There is a training hike during the trip, it is 5 miles and is a day hike, bring your backpack and something to put in it. It is flat!
• Coming up, the Kumeyay Interpretive Center needs help cleaning itself up, talk to Mr. Kordela to see what day it is going to be.

• REI is having a used gear sale on Saturday starting at 9AM.
• The court of honor has been postponed.
• We planned a menu, and planned the trip. The trip is going to be on April 5th and 6th, and is a car camp.
