This is an e-mail simulation group that takes place after Return of the Jedi. Within this group, the following is recognized: The Republic is the current ruling government; there are factions, or small groups, of Imperials the largest being the New Empire; business is flourishing in all fields; there exists one known Jedi academy on Yavin IV; and Dathomir and the Hapes Consortium belong to the combined races of the Hapan and Dathomirian Witches. |

| Designers of the Eye of Palpatine were reassigned to duty at Dathomir. Their new assignment was to develop secret technology for the Emperor. A device was developed that would allow the Empire to cross vast distances of space in a short amount of time. The gate exploded in the middle of the process. The result was the utter and complete desctruction of all large, active energy sources. The explosion sent the entire Dathomir System instantly through hyperspace and then through a tear in Ultraspace. The Dathomir System, in the blinking of an eye found a new home in a "limbo", a place between places. The inhabitants of Dathomir were unaware of their fate. | |
| This game, Star Wars: The New Hope, takes place some 1000 years after Episode 6. While a star Wars RPG it is on an alternate timeline than SWURPC although some aspects of the earlier game do appear in SW:TNH. The Republic and Empire are gone and there has been a war with the Yuuzhan Vong, the Chiss and various Force factions over the past 1000 years. As other powers vie for dominance, rumors of a galactic savior are starting to circulate. |
