| I am a software engineer by day and a quilter
by night. I reside in Saratoga, CA. I create contemporary art
quilts which are usually wall-hangings. I tend to favor landscapes. My
inspiration comes from pictures of our travels. I am always on the
lookout for eye-catching pictures in magazines and even the daily
newspaper. I started quilting in 1996 with two small traditional quilts. But I quickly realized that making multiple copies of the same block was not for me and started creating my own designs. Nowadays, I use my own hand-dyed fabrics and a lot of free-motion embroidery and quilting to create my designs. I am a member of CQFA (Contemporary Quilt and Fiber Artists). I hope you enjoy viewing my quilts as much as I enjoy creating them. |
