The Skandia Folk Dance Committee first met in February of 2008. We're made up of Skandia-area residents and self-described "Skandia wannabes." Some of us have long roots in the area. Others of us are new. We span the generations in terms of age. What we all have in common is a love of music, dancing and keeping our home community vibrant and strong! We'd love new members, so if you are interested in joining in on the fun, be sure to contact us.

Depending on the success of our first Skandia Folk Dance on April 4 with Chasin' Steel, we hope to hold 3-4 community dances throughout the year featuring various music and dance styles. Stay tuned to our Upcoming Events page for more information.
