Who can join the MOMS Club?
The MOMS Club is a support group for mothers who
stay at home with their children, including those who have home-based
businesses and those who work part-time but are home with their children for
some portion of the day. Where do I have to live to join these
chapters?
The three St. Mary’s County chapters cover the
entire county. Click
here to access a map showing chapter boundaries. There are over 1,500 MOMS Club
chapters. If you do not live in St. Mary's County, there is likely a
chapter in your area. To locate a chapter in your area, email
momsclub@aol.com. Can I attend a MOMS Club activity before I
decide to join?
Yes. Non-members may attend up to two monthly
business meetings or park days before deciding whether to join. We
strongly recommend that you do so you can meet existing members and get a
feel for the club. Please ask our Membership Vice Presidents (
Lexington Park,
Mechanicsville,
St. Mary’s City/Leonardtown) about locations for these events. It is
International MOMS Club policy that only members may attend other activities. Are there membership dues?
Yes. Annual membership dues are $20, and are
due when you join. Dues help to defer costs of running the club
including monthly newsletters, membership mailings and handouts, activity
groups, meeting rooms, parties, and children's room activities. MOMS
Club is a non-profit club. The Board and other committee members are
volunteers and do not receive compensation. How do I join the MOMS Club?
Once you have decided to join the club, contact the
appropriate Membership Vice President (
Lexington Park,
Mechanicsville,
St. Mary’s City/Leonardtown) for an application. |
