Scott Shea has had a love for history and antiques as long as he can remember. Growing up just outside historic Morristown N.J., .Scott spent his youth exploring  Revolutionary War historic sites. His love of history and the shooting sports have made recreating 18th and early 19th century long arms one of the great passions of his life.

Scott learned the basics of gun building at the Pa. Longrifle museum  at the Jacobsburg Historical Society just outside of Nazareth, Pa. and has stayed involved with that program.

Today  Scott builds rifles full time in his home/shop in beautiful Mt. Gretna Pa. Scott is a long time member of the CLA and more recently joined the KRA. His belief is that by constant hands-on exposure to original work his own work will more accurately  reflect the craftsmanship of days gone by.

Most of  Scott's work is by custom order; however  he tries to build a  few rifles every year  that are purely of his own interpretation which he will sell at Shows, etc. From plain Schimmels to fully carved and engraved Kentuckys, Scott always strives to put his best foot forward at prices everyone can afford!
