| Sridevi's first Hindi Movie. This is a remake of tamil "16 Vayadhinile" directed by Barathiraja. Solva Sawan, inspite of liberal exposure of Sridevi failed make her an established heroine. But on observing all the three language movies of the same story with Sridevi (16 Vayadhinile - Tamil, Padhaharella Vayasu - Telugu and Solva Sawan - Hindi) it is definite that the only thing which the director was dependent for making the movie a success was Sridevi's glamour which is evident because in all the three languages, the same type of cleavage exposure, same type of lifting skirt upto top of thigh level etc. Whether it is sexy or vulgar is for you to decide.
