I was born Connie Lynn Johnston on Sunday December the 14,  1952 at 4:15 a.m. at the Franklin Hospital in Claremore, Rogers     County, Oklahoma to James Leon and Eletha Nell Hinds               Johnston as their second child. I was delivered by Doctor               Millender. At that time the hospital wouldn't let my dad even stay   in the lobby. He went home. He couldn't stay in the car. There      was snow on the ground and it was cold out. He left mom's           cousin Lavetta's phone number with the hospital, since we didn't    have a phone. The hospital called when I was born and Lavetta's   husband Fred Riggs went over to the duplex we lived in on the       corner of Cherokee and 10th Street  in Claremore to let my dad     know. He had to wake him up three times.

Leon and Eletha were married on July 21, 1949,  in Willcox, Arizona in mom's parent's home. Elder Kenneth Walker of the Church of God (7th Day)   conducted the ceremony to a full house after church services on Saturday.  My dad always teased my mom that the 21st wasn't their anniversary.  They were to be   married on the 22nd of July, but the preacher wasn't  going to be there on Sunday.

Leon and Eletha were blessed with three children. Larry Leon on March 28, 1951 at the hospital in Phoenix, Arz.; Connie Lynn on December 14, 1952 at the Franklin Hospital in Claremore, Rogers Co, Oklahoma and Patricia Marlene on January 9, 1961 at the Claremore Health Center in Claremore, Rogers Co, Oklahoma.

Larry Leon Johnston married Betty Mae Coonce on May 29, 1971 at the Church of God (7th Day) in Claremore, Rogers County, Oklahoma. They have one son Jason Daniel born November 10, 1972 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. They were divorced in 1973. He married Patricia Ann Lippincott on August 22, 1976 at the Church of God (7th Day) in Kansas City, Missouri.  Patty and Larry had two daughters, Kristin Ann born October 28, 1980 in Claremore, Rogers County, Oklahoma. Krisitn is a High School English/Spanish teacher at Claremore High School. Amanda Lynn born March 14, 1983 in Claremore, Oklahoma studying medicine at OU Medical, Tulsa, Ok.

Jason Daniel Johnston and Stephanie Henson has one son Jeffery Blake born November 8, 1994 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Jason married Jennifer Lee Veatch on April 22, 2000 in Newcastle, Oklahoma outside of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Jason and Jennifer don't have any children. Amanda Lynn married Jason Brown on July 31, 2005 at the Church of God (7th Day) in Claremore, Rogers County, Oklahoma. She is attending the University of Oklahoma to become a doctor. They have one son Judah Caleb Brown born April 24, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Tulsa Co, Oklahoma.

Connie Lynn Johnston married Ricky Gene James on July 24, 1977 at the Church of God (7th Day) in Claremore, Rogers County, Oklahoma. They have three children. A daughter Leah Danielle born September 20, 1978 at the Claremore Health Center in Claremore, Rogers Co, Oklahoma. A son Michael Craig born on December 21, 1982 at the Claremore Regional Hosptial in Claremore, Oklahoma and a daughter Cortnie Lynn born September 27, 1991 at the Claremore Regional Hospital in Claremore, Okla.

Leah Danielle married Earl Von Harrell on March 17, 2000 in Bentonville, Arkansas. They have a son Randy DeWayne born May 16, 2000 at Saint John's Hospital in Tulsa, Tulsa County, Oklahoma and one daughter Madysen Paige born March 31, 2004 at the Claremore Regional Hospital in Claremore, Rogers County, Oklahoma.
