Due to bandwidth restrictions and quite a lot of visitors the last couple of months I am unfortunately forced to remove my downloadable ZIP file in order to limit my site being closed periodically because of all the traffic. If you find any dead links or errors please e-mail me at: contact_tentacle@hotmail.com. Thanx.

Welcome to my tutorial on Hypertext Mark-up Language or HTML as it's better known. In the tutorial I have tried to make HTML as easy as possible by using lots of illustrations and examples. If however, something is not completely clear, should you have a suggestion to make the point seem more comprehensible or just want to make a comment, please feel free to drop me an e-mail, I am always open to new ideas. If you are stuck or confused about something, check out my Questions and Answers section, you might find the answer you’ve been looking for, and if not, post your question and maybe even help someone else who has the same problem. I hope that this tutorial will benefit newcomers as well as experienced HTML programmers. If you are a newcomer to HTML, I would suggest you start with the Introduction of my tutorial, otherwise select your topic of interest from the links. Note however, that the links follow on each other, so if this is the first time you're trying your hand at HTML, follow the links in sequence. By skipping topics you might miss out on some important information on understanding the next section. For more information have a look at my links section, I’ve included links to some of the best HTML tutorial pages I could find on the web, so if I couldn’t help you, maybe one of the netizens on the other pages can lend a hand. OK then, let's get started, you're just a click away from the wonderful world of HTML and the world wide web.

Just a note, this tutorial is geared towards those using Windows 95/98/NT and is also shamelessly biased towards Internet Explorer. But rest assured, most of it should work just fine for all you Netscape users out there. Is Internet Explorer a better browser? No, it's just different to Netscape. Browsers sometimes do different things with the same markup or HTML code, but overall the pages will look the same in each browser. This page is also best viewed with your desktop area set to 800 X 600 resolution. If you don't know how to change or check what your current resolution is, or don't have the required browser, click here.

I believe that the Web is about share and share alike, and the following tutorial is totally for FREE, all I ask in return is that you sign my guestbook and leave me a small comment.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank my best friend Detritus for giving up a lot of his spare time to read through my tutorial and correct all my grammar and spelling.
