Please help your Skill Center staff by reporting when there is a computer or printer problem. Sometimes your document does not print. However, if you don’t tell us, then all print jobs that are sent to the printer afterward are also locked from printing. We have to cancel the first document that starts the logjam in order to allow other jobs to print. Please just let us know so we don’t have to investigate 14 computers to see which one has the jammed print job. We would appreciate your help very much!

The Skill Center has some great classes this January and February. First, you can take a Vista Operating System class. Anybody with a new computer or thinking about getting a new one will have to deal with this new operating system. Let the Skill Center lead you through it. We have 4 computers with Vista on it so that you can see firsthand how to get around.
We are also offering a class in Budgeting. This awesome Excel program will set up a budget for you that will show you how every penny you spend today will affect your finances down the road. It is a fabulous tool for learning how to more wisely use your money.
February will bring back our very popular beginning and intermediate Photo Editing class. Call 361 or stop by to sign up!
Finally, in March, learn to sell all your trash and treasures on e-Bay. Marcy will once again show you how to start making some extra money today while getting rid of your clutter.
We will also be teaching the new Word 2007. You don’t want to miss this if you have Office 2007 now, cause it’s a WHOLE lot different. Let us keep you from becoming lost.
Marcy will also be teaching the Movie Maker class so you can make wonderful CD’s and DVD’s for your graduation party.
