Here's a Tissue was opened January 26, 2003. The name of the site comes from one of the Austin Powers movie (I believe the second one, The Spy Who Shagged Me). Originally, I was thinking of opening an advise site to help others online. But, that didn't work out and it just evolved into a blog/personal site. Nowandays, Here's a Tissue is just basically a personal site. A site to find out more about me, Amanda. Certain sections, such as the photo album, collective, fanlistings, etc., have branched off into their own little sites. Before there was a Here's a Tissue, there was a small dinky site, FrEak azN SitE (July 19, 2002 - December 2002), made w/ site builder on Tripod. Disliking the constant popups and annoyances of adds there, I searched and found Geocities which was better. However, I was still using site builder. I found this very... restricting... and then I started wondering how other people got such great really nice looking layouts...and that's when i discovered HTML. My First layout was a pre-made layout from LissyDesigns. but, I wanted to make a layout on my own so my second one, w/ help from LissyDesigns as a guide, and Frame Codes for frame codes, I was able to use Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7 and create one for myself. And I have been making layouts ever since. I've gotten better. It is now one of my obsessions and one really big distraction from me doing my school work.
Here's a Tissue was twice a member of the Among-the-Stars.Com family (3/1/03 - 3/23/03, 5/1/03 - 7/19/03). Jenna was great enough to host me. And then host me a second time after her domain was down for about two months. Her domain is, now closed and I have lost contact w/ her. Other than that, I've been in Geocities.

But anyway, I think I did pretty well on my finals. :) In Art107A (Basic Drawing), I got an A- for my grade. And I'm pretty sure I got an A on my art portfolio. Hopefully. And as for my math final? That was my only actual final. And... I think I did pretty good. I only needed about 141 points to get an A- in the class. And I felt that I did pretty well. So let's just hope I did good. Yeha. And my Chicano Studies Class... I don't know about that one. My interview whent a little long. Ok. Too long. haha. Hopefully he won't dock points. Or... too many points. Yeah. And I also wonder about the crittique I wrote.
Well.. only time will tell. Yeah. Grades won't be posted until January 2. :/

And of course, when I'm tired, I usually take forever to do work. Haha.
Today (or rather, yesterday now). Wow is today special. So I had it all planned out. I get home at three in the afternoon from school. I was going to get a snack. Shower. Work on my essay and math homework. That way, I don't need to stay up all that late to finish them. Well, turns out, I find out at four that I was working today. Haha. What a great way to find out ey? Haha. Yeah. So, I call up ALex. He's at work. I forgot he started work at that tutoring place. Yup. So, who do I call? And Gabby came up. I called her up and she took me to work. I am so glad! Haha. Otherwise, I'd be stuck at home. Haha. Yeah.
Anyway, long story short, its almost one o'clock. And I have not finished a damn thing. I'm freaking exhausted. And all I want to do is go to sleep.
I really need to stop procrastinating on my work. Haha. Yeah. I was doing so well the first couple weeks of school. Now, I'm back to my old ways. But, I guess that's how it always works. I get tired of the same routine over and over again I think. Lol. I mean, this time in August/September, I was willing to get up. Get ready for school and everything. Now, I'm getting up at 8:15 to be ready by 8:40 or something. Sad. I know. Haha.
Yeah. Ok. Back to work now I guess.

This has got to be my most favorite show ever! It was definately intense! I was so worked up. Haha. It was like oh no. They're not going to win the championship. Lucas is a jerk. Doesn't want to be with Peyton. And all he said was "Oh." And then, Haley with her baby problem. But then she was ok. Nathan turned around and they actually won the championship. Lucas said something right for once! But of course, what goes up must come down right? Yeah. By the end of the episode everything went wrong! Brooke was the one failing calculus. Haley got hit by a car. Lucas's heart stopped beating or something because of his heart problem and he didn't take his meds that night. Not only that, Nathan killed a man. So much drama. I can't wait for next episode!
Yeah. I wonder if next weeks episodes going to be the last one before break. I mean, they sure love to lleave us with cliff hangers. I mean, if they end next week, that means, they can keep us guessing, is Lucas dead? Or still kickin'? Yeah. I wonder that because I know next weeks the last episode of the season for Top Model which comes on the hour before One Tree Hill. Caridee, Eugena, and Melrose are the remaining three. I really hope Melrose does not win. I just don't like her. But then again, no one does. Haha. Yeah. She's just, I guess too opinionated. You don't have to voice ever single thing and you don't have to be a stuck up bitch. haha.
K, I just went off on a tangent. Back to OTH.
So, what else happened? Karen was taking Deb to Nathan's last basketball game (the championship game) and she tried to get her not to take drugs for just today and she didn't listen. So when she fell asleep in the car, Karen took her to a rehab center where she wakes up. Peyton and Brooke, it feels like they're starting to work things out. I mean, they've finally started kind of talking to each other again. Nathan was supposed to throw the game but he didn't. That's why Haley got ran over. Oh, and Nathan "killed" a man. But Dan! WHen the cops were about to show up, he had Nathan take off and made it look like he beat the shit outta the guy who ran down Haley (he crashed his car cuz he got pissed off he missed Nathan).
So, this is a little backstory on the whole Haley-getting-hit-by-a-car-thing. So, Nathan and Haley got into a little financial problem. And Nathan went to his dad (Dan) for help. He's the mayor of Tree Hill. And, so, Nathan goes to this guy. I guess you can call him a loan shark. His names Daunte (played by Rick Fox). Anyway, so, Daunte tells Nathan to throw one game and that's it. Well, turns out, it wasn't and he wanted Nathan to throw the championship game so that the Ravens would lose. In the end, Nathan doesn't throw the game. He did for the first half. But, then he changed his mind the second half. Why? Because of Whitey. It was his last game ever. he was retiring. And, he gave a really inspiring little pep talk during halftime. Well, so, they win by one point and Daunte's pissed. So, I guess he decides that he's going to run over Nathan. You know, injure him. End his career. So, he's waiting outside Karen's Cafe where the after party was. And, so, Nathan and Haley are walking home and here comes the car when they're standing in the middle of the street. and Haley is like "Watch out!" and pushes Nathan out of the way. So she got hit. Daunte was all pissed off he missed Nathan and then he loses control of the car and runs into whatever. Nathan runs over to the car, pulls out what looks like an unconcious Daunte and starts wailing punches at him. Until Dan comes and stops him. Then, they discover that Daunte is dead. And that's when they hear the sirens. Dan tells Nathan to run and Dan made it look like it was him that was punching Daunte.
Intense! I know. Haha. Yeah. So, now its like is Haley and their son alright? Is Lucas going to die or not? Is Dan really gonna go to jail?
Wowzers!!!
K that about sums it up. I have to head to bed. School tomorrow.

So, I've finally decided what to do with this site. After what? Countless numbers of months, maybe even years, of on and off again hiatus cuz I had no idea what to do. Its going to have updates of stuff similar to above. Stuff on my shows. Basically my opnions. I'll proll post random topics that are on my mind. Stuff like that.
Good idea. No? What do you think? Haha. Yeah.
I'm also going to have a guestbook for people to comment me back or something. But since SignMyGuestbook wasn't working right now, I don't want to set that up. I'll figure it out later. I should go to sleep now.
