I'M A MOUNTAIN The I'm a Mountain album from Sarah hit the stores in October, 2005. The title of the album is I'm A Mountain and many talented artists lend their sound : Jason Euringer, Joey Wright, Marty Kinack, Julie Fader and Luther Wright, just to name a few! This new album ventures into the realm of country/ bluegrass/ folk which is a nice variety for Sarah. My favorites off the album include the Dolly Parton cover "Will He Be Waiting for Me?" and Sarah's own "I am Aglow." ____________________________ Talented, lively and uniquely Canadian are just some of the words you might hear people use to desribe the efforts of singer/songwriter Sarah Harmer, an Ontario native with one heck of a voice. If you have not yet had the pleasure of seeing Sarah live, what are you waiting for? The test of a true musician is the live concert... does it still sound good? In Sarah's case it almost sounds better, watching emotions dance on her face and listening to the background of her songs. A LITLE BACKGROUND ON SARAH Sarah Harmer got her first showcase at the tender age of four, singing in a church. Her first real gig was singing back-up for the band, The Saddletramps, in Burlington. In 1993, Weeping Tile was born as a trio. They played many venues around Kingston, Ontario, delighting fans everywhere. In 1995 Weeping Tile came out with there first CD, Eepee. Sarah was the only original member. For their next release, Cold Snap, Sarah's sister had joined (sister mary), as well as Luther Wright and Paul Gurnsey.

Weeping Tile -- Cold Snap
Valentino, Weeping Tile's 3rd album, was released in 1997. It sported a new drummer, Camille Giroux, and a new bassist and bg vocals, Sticky. Sarah decided it was time to try solo, and her debut album was a collection of songs from way back when for her father. Songs for Clem wasn't going to be released for the public, but persistent urging from friends made it available for the public. Her second solo album, You Were Here, has capitvated audiences across Canada and her nominations at the Junos are a good sign that she'll be around for a while longer.
