2. Perception creates reality
Perception, in a nutshell, is our beliefs based on our experience. The way we perceive our present-day world is based on how our world has been in the past, and the meanings we put on those experiences are based on that perception.
There is no right or wrong in perception. Perception simply is! It can make whatever picture the mind desires.
If you perceive that putting up a business is hard and risky, then, you are very right! Perhaps you have an experience like this before or sensed from others that it is hard and risky. Whenever we judge anyone negatively, we are really judging those aspects in ourselves. It is impossible to see something in someone else unless we perceive it in ourselves on some level of experience.
If you perceive that life is so worthwhile, despite its many problems, then, you are also very right! This will make you positive and confident everyday that all you manifest in your mind will come true. The Lord searches your heart and mind.
Perception is made up of either illusion or reality. Illusion is defined as anything that is temporary in nature, that was thought up by man, and had a perception placed on it. When two or more people agree on this illusion, it then becomes reality.
A difference in perception has been the cause of many an argument and sometimes war. The next time you encounter a difference in perception, rather than fight, ask yourself if you would rather be right or happy.
