                           Why Join ATPE?

1.  ATPE welcomes all members of the education community -- teachers, administrators, para-educators, retirees, teacher trainees, college students and the public-- are invited to be part of the ATPE family.

2. Because ATPE is member-owned and member-governed, you guide your association by electing your representatives and participating in the ATPE House of Delegates.

3. Your ATPE dues will stay in Texas because ATPE is not affiliated with any national organizations.

4. ATPE's lobby team includes seven registered lobbyists with more than 90 years of combined legislative education policy experience, including a former senator and chairman of the House Public Education committee.
