Windsor Netball Club.... is a womens social and recreational sports club. We play every Thursday evening from 7:30pm - 9:30pm at the Ecole Monseigneur Augustin Caron |
| The Game.... Netball is a distant cousin of basketball. It is played with two teams, each of which has three attack, one center and three defensive players. The ball is passed along the court to the two shooters, who score by throwing it through a hoop. There is no back board. It is a team game involving good foot work and passing skills. Players may not run with the ball or bounce to themselves. Whilst netball is little known in Canada it is extremely popular in other Commonwealth countries such as England, Scotland, South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand.
