I resorted to continue on studying. To start with, I made a nine-month course on Franciscan spirituality and that was way back in 1994/95. It was really interesting since I really like some of the philosophy of life of St. Francis of Assisi. Then in February 1996 I became quite obsessed with the study of philosophy and reason. Therefore I took the advanced level of Philosophy. Then in September 1997, I wanted to pursue my studies in psychology but I did not find an evening course at the Malta University. On the other hand I did not want to quit the job to take the full-day degree and end up without a salary (I never wanted to depend on my parents). I had to choose a second preference, a Bachelor of Arts in religious studies. I was doing excellent in my studies at university obtaining results with flying colours but I began to doubt about the real Truth in life. I began to be suspicious about all that concerns religion, I also lost faith I had and well now though I'm still a practicing Christian but I do have reservations in what I believe and how I do believe in same. Therefore I decided to quit the course for good.
In October 1998 I started yet another course and this time a Diploma in Business Management. This course is more related to my present job within the Government Service and it does more sense in obtaining a diploma in a field that I find myself most comfortable. It is a three-year course, which I hope that I will finish without any difficulties this time.
I am trying to live every minute of life and thanks to my strong will towards life I will continue on my journey. I will be searching to find love, happiness and unity.
