Clara Yen As a child, Clara Yen would sit enraptured at her parents’ sides, listening to them speak about their childhood in China. She re-creates those memories for herself, for her parents, and for her listeners by delicately weaving family lore with folk tales, and English with Mandarin. The resident storyteller for the public library in Dublin California, Yen is also the author of Why Rat Comes First. |
